Abstract

In fact during the learning process of mathematics, students only use student worksheets (LKS) and textbooks without using others references and make students less in learning independently.The research aims to empower students in learning process. It uses development of specific 3D mathematical modules in the multiplication and fraction division’s chapter as an effort to empower students in learning process. This study aims to produce feasible development products in the form of mathematical modules of multiplication and division material using bruner theory so that it is useful to facilitate learners independently learning Module development activities in this study use the Research and Development (RnD) method, the research uses a type of development research. The data sources is selected from 28 students of fourth grade in Girimoyo 02 Elementary School Karang Ploso Malang Regency. This research uses the ADDIE model namely (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) Evaluation. The data obtained by this study uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, questionnaires, documentation and observations. The results obtained, it is evident that the 3D math module teaching material books on multiplication and fraction division class IV of elementary school can be interpreted very validly by several validators with presentations obtained from teaching materials experts for the first validation to get a percentage of 71%, validation of the second teaching material percentage of 84%, validation of the first material expert gets a percentage of 92%, the response of the teacher as a user produces 97%, and gets an average student response of 95% and the value of student learning outcomes produces 94, so it can be concluded that module teaching material books 3D mathematics in the material of multiplication and fraction division can be used as teaching materials that will support the learning process of mathematics in class IV of SDN Girimoyo 02 Karang Ploso Malang Regency.The results of this research, it is recommended to be used as a learning resource other than additional learning books for students in order to support the success of their learning.
