Abstract

The composition and content of the main ingredients of ampo (soil) contains several elements of mineral compounds. Minerals in the soil itself include Ca, K and Zn. Based on the number, essential mineral elements in the body are divided into two groups, such as macro minerals and micro minerals. Macro minerals are required or present in relatively large quantities, including Ca, P, K, Na, Cl, S, and Mg. Micro-minerals are minerals that are needed in very small amounts and are generally present in tissues of very small concentrations, ie Fe, Mo, Cu, Zn, Mn, Co, I, and Se (Darmono, 1995). This study aims to examine the content of Ca, K and Zn in ampo snacks in the new market of Tuban East Java and knowing the utilization of the data of this study as a source of Biology learning in the form of poster for class VIII about "Digestive system in humans, food substances, food test, digestive organs, digestive enzymes, diseases associated with digestive system" material and develope it in the form of posters. The type of research used is descriptive qantitative by using research method of data analysis. This research was conducted on January 2 - February 7, 2018 at the Laboratory of Nutrition and Chemistry in University of Brawijaya Malang. The results showed that the value of Ca content in sample A was 228.02 ppm sample, B was 501,23 ppm, sample C was 470,39 ppm. Result of K content test on sample A was 723,03 ppm, sample B was 186,49 ppm, sample C was 159,89 ppm. Moderate test result of Zn content on sample A was 29,64 ppm, sample B was 28,34 ppm, sample C was 25,58ppm. From these three contents each sample has a different content value and there is a considerable ratio of Ca and K content in the sample.
