Abstract

This research motivated by the analysis on October 24th, 2018 at Pleret Elementary School I, Pasuruan through initial observation and interview. It was found at Pleret Elementary School I required concrete learning media, which can be touched and played by the students in learning Math. This study aims to: 1) develop Puppet Learning Media KANIK (Ethnic Education) Mathematics Integers Material 4th Grade Elementary School Students. This research is done by conducting Research and Development Method (R&D) by ADDIE Development Procedure which has 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection is by conducting validation questionnaire sheets. The instruments are in the form of validation questionnaire to determine the validity of Puppet media KANIK (Ethnic Education) integers also the respond of the students. In this study, the data analysis technique is quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive. Quantitative descriptive used to obtain the data in the form of scores from the assessment of validation and students responses. Qualitative descriptive is used to describing the data in the form of comments and suggestions for the improvements. The result of the study founded that:1) the results of the validation of the development Puppet Learning Media KANIK (Ethnic Education) Mathematics Integers Material 4th Grade Elementary School Students was obtained from each validation, namely 89% from the expert media, 88% from the learning material, and 93% from the learning validation. The result of the validation products is valid criteria or suitable in learning. This research was conducted at Pleret Elementary School I, Pasuruan for 3 days on February 11th – February 13th, 2019. The research was conducted in two scales, namely small scale and large scale. The questionnaire was distributed to get the respond of the students. The results were obtained from the student's responses was 90.88%.
