Abstract
Extreme Programming (XP) is a software development method that teaches the values of communication, simplicity, feedback, and courage. XP is there to allow discussion where needs can be changed because clients are not yet sure or do not understand the desired features or they may change their thinking regarding pre-existing features. Design Thinking needs to be done beforehand to know about what needs to be explained for discussion. It is important to validate initial decisions as early as possible to ensure that there is no need to spend time and money on product development. Based on the above explanation, a Letter Archive Web Application with the Personal Extreme Programming software development method was added to Design Thinking at the requirements stage to define and validate the problem to get the best solution according to the client's needs.
