Abstract

This research is based on the background that Pare 1 Kediri Elementary School is an elementary school that implements the Adiwiyata program which has the main goal of realizing a school that has values that are caring and culturally environment. This is in accordance with the school's vision and mission, one of the vision and mission is to excel in imtaq, perform in science and technology, national character and care for the environment. The Adiwiyata program also has four indicators. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Adiwiyata program, the supporting factors and constraints faced in the Adiwiyata program, and to know the school's efforts in involving students to play an active role in the Adiwiyata program at Pare 1 Kediri Elementary School. In this study using a type of qualitative descriptive research. Through this qualitative descriptive research, researchers can obtain all the data that has been observed from various sources. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. this research was carried out in the city of Pare, having its address at Pb road Sudirman number 106 Kediri district in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year in February. The results showed that the implementation of the Adiwiyata program was based on four indicators namely environmentally sound policies, implementation of an environment-based curriculum, participatory based environmental activities, management of school supporting infrastructure. Of the four indicators there are obstacles to the implementation of the Adiwiyata program such as when the study met several students who lacked a sense of responsibility regarding daily picket activities and if there was direction from the teacher when the clean Friday activities took place there were still students who did not listen to the teacher's direction, awareness students are still lacking. Conclusions and Suggestions in the implementation of the Adiwiyata program are: the development of an environment-based curriculum, the determination of the school's vision and mission, the provision of infrastructure in schools provided by Pare 1 Kediri Elementary School, the saving of energy resources taught by classroom teachers to students, and the development of participatory activities in program implementation Adiwiyata at the school cooperates with outsiders, punishes, and awards. Suggestions from the implementation of the Adiwiyata program are divided into three, first suggestions for students in the habit of throwing garbage in place, for teachers all teachers should also apply the habit of marching in front of the class before entering and starting learning, and for more than one school principal for biodiversity kind of So that students' knowledge of biodiversity is better understood and understood.
