Abstract

Process Skills Approach is a class arrangement in learning and teaching activities carried out between student and teacher focused on the activity of student to obtain good learning outcomes. Process skills approach consist of ten principles, 1) ability to observe, 2) the ability to calculate , 3) ability to measure , 4) ability to classify , 5) ability to find relationships , 6) ability to make predictions (forecast) , 7) ability to carry out research , 8) ability to collect and analyze the data , 9) ability to interpret the data , and 10) ability to communicate the result. This approach is suitable if used in learning mathematics because learning mathematics requires learning to dive so student are able to understand the material well. Research activities conductes by researchers using the ADDIE development model. This model has five stages of 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development,4) implementation, and 5) evaluations. The first stages of analisys aims to determine the needs and constrains in the activity, learning, both designing of the results of analysis is accordance with the needs and characteristics of student based on the competensi, the third development is to determine the component based on the previous design result, the fourth is the application implemented that have been developed against material experts and activitysheet experts, and the fifth is the evaluation is a activity to findout the result of the trial process and improve the product in the accordance with the advice of material experts and activitysheet experts. The result of this research shows that 1) development of student activitysheet process skills approach shows very valid criteria, it can be seen from percentage of expert material validation by 80% and experts activitysheet by 89,5% while 2) the appropriateness level of 93% from the results of students responses to use of student activitysheet process skills approach can used as a supporting teaching material of fifth grade students of primary school.
