Abstract

Education is the way to teach all the students. Besides being the good to educate students, teacher also have to be a perfect motivator to all students. In order to rich the aim of the education, schools have to facilitate students with all of the students want. Nowadays, one of the program that used by school to improve students’ skill is friendly school for students in Indonesia it called by Sekolah Ramah Anak (SRA). This research aimed to know the activities process of SRA, the problems faced in SRA, the result of SRA Program, and the evaluation process which used in implementing that program. The kind of research used was descriptive qualitative. This research was carried out at SDN Klampokarum in Lumajang Regency with the data resources were head master, teacher and students. Research instruments used were interview sheet, observation sheet, and documentation sheet. This research was finishing by preparation, implementation, and create a report. The technique in analyze the data used were collecting the data, reduction, display, and drawing the conclusion with using to validate the data. The results of the study (1) the activities carried out in the implementation of the SRA program included the cleanliness of the school environment, morning gymnastics, pickets, escorting students, scouts, religion, arts, activities of mutual respect and respect it’s self, independence, honesty and confidence. (2) the problems faced include internal aspects, namely students and teachers in dealing with children with special needs and the external aspects include the environment in front of the school which can cause pollution at any time and parents of students who are from a background that require them to go to work in the morning, so the child is left to go alone with his friends. (3) result of the implementation of the program are the achievement of all indicators described in the SRA program guide, namely the existence of a clean, healthy, safe school environment, and foster positive character for students. (4) evaluation process is conducted once a week, namely a meeting between the principal and the teacher, and at a certain time when the teacher needs to be evaluated.
