Abstract

Undergraduate thesis. Indonesian and Regional Lenguage and Literature Education Study Program. Fakulty of Education and Teacher Training. University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Advisior: (1) Drs. Gigit Mujianto, M.Si. (2) Musaffak, M.Pd. The process of religious learning tends to mix language, the purpose of mixing is so that learning that takes place is not bored and easily understood. In addition, to increase kinship so that the learning process is interesting and smooth. The purpose of this research is to (1) describing the mixed code form in religius learning in the Zainul Hasan Genggong islamic boarding school Probolinggo; (2) dercribe the function of intertering code in religious learning in the islamic boarding school of Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo. The approach used by researchers is a qualitative approach. The type of research used in this study is etnographic research or sociolinguistic research. Research data in the form of sentences, paragraph related to code mixing. The data source in this study is a trancript of conversations between kyai/ustadz, ustadzah and santri. The technique used in analyzing data is by listening to the recording in depth, write transkript and interpretations of the data found and draw conciusions. The result of the study indicate that (1) the form of mixed code in religious learning in the islamic boarding school Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo includes words, phraie, words repeating, expressions (2) the mixed code fuaction in religius learning in the Zainul Hasan Genggong islamic boarding school Probolinggo. The functions found in this study include interjection, the opponent's specification, classifying the message content, repetition.
