Abstract

Observation result at 3rd grade of Dinoyo 4 Elementary School, Malang showing that 50% students are not capable enough to presenting in front of other students when thematic study system was applied. The reason is students are not confident yet and deficient at word selection. When at class, the students are not involved at learning process and cannot answer the written questions properly. The purpose of this research is to know the impact of Learning Mode Think-Talk-Write to thematic study result theme 4, subtheme 2, learn 1 for 3rd grade students at Dinoyo 4 Elementary School, Malang. The method that used for this research is pre-experimental method and design that used is one group, pre-test, post-test. This design is giving a treatment and ended with post-test. The result will be in high accuracy and also could be compared with previous circumstance. Quantitative research is related with data analysis after collecting the data. Some tests that used for this research are normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. Result of the research stated the average pre-test results of students obtained by 75,91. While the post-test results obtained by 89,09. So it can be known that there are changes before and after being treated. The result then being processed and examined by using Windows SPSS 25. The result used by paired sample t-test, showing significance 0.000 < 0.05, that means there is an impact from Learning Model Think-Talk-Write to thematic study result for 3rd grade students at Dinoyo 4 Elementary School, Malang. Therefore, the application of Think-Talk-Write learning model is not only to see the final results, but in the model, students can be taught to conceptualize or build their minds independently by putting those thoughts in written form. Think-Talk-Write learning model is expected to be implemented in thematic learning, which in the material if there is material that requires deeper understanding.
