Abstract

User satisfaction can be used as a parameter in measuring usability in addition to effectiveness and efficiency. This research uses a research model from Green and Pearson relating to user satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of user satisfaction of a website using the Green and Pearson model. This research was conducted on the Malangculinary.com website-based application which is a website that contains local culinary references domiciled in the city. Data collection using questionnaires with the number of respondents in this study there are 130 respondents. Sample in respondents using probability random sampling technique with an experimental approach. From referring to the Green and Pearson model, it was found that several aspects that became independent variables on user satisfaction were among others, ease of use, personalization, speed of access (download delay), and presentation of information. Based on the existing theory foundation, the statistical test on the user satisfaction model utilizes the theory of Structural Equation Model (SEM) and SPSS 16.0 software. Tests for validity and reliability testing are performed to obtain valid and reliable data. The results showed that ease of use has a significant effect on user satisfaction, customization has a significant influence on user satisfaction, speed of access (download delay) has a significant influence on user satisfaction and the presentation of information has content which is significant for user satisfaction. Based on the results of this study indicate that the level of satisfaction of malangculinary.com website users has a "strong" scale of interpretation when viewed from aspects of ease of use, customization, and content variables. And it has a "sufficient" scale of interpretation on the download delay variable aspect.
