The researcher focused on five main aspects of interpersonal communication from Joseph A DeVito, namely openness, empathy, supportive attitude, positive attitude and equality. The results of this study are for each communication activity that takes place between patients and general practitioners, each of which has its own portion of the five aspects. Each of the aspects that do not necessarily determine the emergence and absence of other aspects in each communication activity. There are also those who, in their communication activities, appear open and empathetic, but their attitude of support and positive attitude is less visible.
