Abstract

The use of chemical pesticides in Indonesia has been carried out since the time of the Green Revolution. This causes chemical pesticide residues to adversely affect the environment. The impact can be in the form of ecosystem instability, there are residues in crops and processed materials, environmental pollution and poisoning, even death in humans. Efforts to overcome this problem with biodegradation of pesticides, namely using microorganisms to break down pesticide residues. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of tolerance and degradation of pesticides by Apple rhizobacter isolates (Malus Sylvestris Mill), oranges (Citrus sinensis), guava (Psidium guajava Linn) as well as biofertilizers. The research phase began with bacterial isolation, identified isolates, carried out pesticide tests, drop plate tests¸ analysis of factorial RAL variance and performed GC-MS tests on apple rhizobacterial isolates as the best isolates. The results showed tolerance levels of apple rhizobacterial isolates (Malus Sylvestis Mill), oranges (Citrus sinensis), Guava (Psidium guajava Linn) on pesticides were very good. GC-MS test results of apple rhizobacterial isolates were able to synthesize several specific metabolites including malic acid, citric acid, 2.4 Diacetylphlorogucinol, thiamin as a mechanism for bacteria to face pesticide stresses and able to synthesize Fitohormon compounds including 3 Indoleacetic acid (IAA), N6 Benzyladenine 9 glucoside, Kinetin (cytokinin), Kinetin glucoside (cytokinin) so that it can potentially be a biofertilizer. It is recommended to carry out ex situ research for pesticide-contaminated lands.
