The backround of this research is about the competition in the television industry, its production requires principals to create programs that match the audience's tastes. One of the programs that occupy the high rating compared to other programs is the reality show. This shows the high interest in viewers of the event. Impressions Termehek-mehek is one TransTV reality that has a high rating and award winning Panasonic Award in 2009 as the program most favorite reality show. Of this phenomenon for researchers interested in examining the motives teenagers watching reality television show Termehek-mehek in TransTV. The purpose of this research is to find out what the motives that drive young people in watching the show Termehek-mehek. The theory used in this research is the uses and gratification theory where the theory reveals that the audience is considered active using the media to meet their needs. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data collection techniques and documentation of questionnaires. Population in this study was a teenager Bumiaji Village district RW.01 Bumiaji – Batu often seen impressions Termehek- mehek least 8 times in the last 5 months, and obtained a population of 54 respondents. The sampling technique used is the census in which all members of the population used for the study. Data analysis technique that is quantitative descriptive analysis. From the research that has been done, can know the motives that drive young people in watching the show in Termehek-TransTV mehek namely (1) The motive of information with the value of 3.7 is entered in the high category, the motive of information here to explain that the respondents Termehek-mehek watch because they want to obtain information about dialamami problems menyelesaian clients in the event. (2) Motif for social integration value of 3.2 in category of low enough, in this case respondents wanted to meet the needs of families spend time together and to strengthen relationships with family. (3) The motive of entertainment for the 3.4 into a high category, explained that the respondents saw termehek-mehek impressions to satisfy their entertainment needs, namely to fill spare time. The relationship between the sexes and the motive is, teenage boys in watch impressions Termehek-mehek have a dominant motif of the motives of entertainment, while women have the dominant motive motive information. In connection with the motive of education, youth from the education level of junior and senior high schools have the same dominant motive in watching realty show Termehek- mehek that motive information, while a teenager in Higher education levels have a dominant motif of entertainment motives.
