Abstract

Retirement is a expansion level that someone had to change the live style. This condition could have direct effecting to individual identity of their work. Early retirement is company regulation to regenerate company employee and to rise productivity of human resources in PT. PLN (Persero) Service and Network Area. And also, give new opportunity for early retirement person to build their own business, out from PLN. Behavior as an important component, have important domain to individual reaction of early retirement. It can appear such as cognitive, conative, and affective behaviour. The research aim is to know the employee of PLN behaviour of early retirement. This research using quantitative descriptive program. The variable is employee behaviour variable to early retirement. Collecting data technique is behaviour scale instrument to early retirement with Likert Scale. Research subject is PT. PLN (Persero) Service and Network Area of Malang that have 63 individual staff. Data collecting start from 16 May until 11 June 2008. The research result greatly know that 49,21 % have positive behaviour, and 50,97 % have negative behaviour of early retirement. Based on employment age the biggest of positive behaviour of early retirement is 19,0 % are 40 – 49 years old, and 14,3 % are 30 – 39 years old. And then 9,5 % up to 50 years old, and the smallest is 6,3 % under 29 years old. 15,9 % of 30 – 39 years old have a biggest negative behaviour, and 12,7 % are 40 49 years old and under 29 years old, and the smallest is 9,5 % of up to 50 years old. Based on working period, the biggest number that have positive employee behaviour are 19,0 % from 11 – 20 year of work period, and 12,7 % from 21 – 30 until less to 10 years of work period, and the smallest is 4,8 % of up to 31 year of work period. A number of negative behaviour are 19,0% of less then 10 year of work period. And 17,5 % from 11 – 20 year of work period, 9,5 % from 21 – 30 year of work period, and the smallest is 4,8 % from up to 31 year of work period.
