Abstract

Building of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kepanjen is multi-storey building consisting of 7 floors. In practice, it was build with concrete structures than in this final planned re-using steel portal structure. This is based on the use of materials for steel has not been widely applied to high-rise buildings. Though steel as the material has advantages over other materials. Steel is the material that has high strength and stiffness, so that it can carry the load well compared to concrete, steel also has the advantage in the work easier and faster. Planning this building refers to some standard that applies to this moment, the standard used for earthquake resistant building design is SNI-1726-2012. As for the steel structure building planning in Indonesia at this time referring to the SNI-1729-2015 which are based on theLRFD method (Load and Resistance Factor Design). LRFD is a method for designing a structure based endurance ultimate rigidity. And the imposition of the building used by SNI 03-1727-2013. As for the concrete planning to use SNI 2847-2013. Loading on the structure can be determined more accurately with imperfections influence the geometry and stiffness reduction has been taken into account during the process of structural analysis. Imperfections geometry can be calculated through the use of notional load. While the effects inelastisitas accommodated by reducing stiffness in structural components. In this planning steps do is to study the floor plan of the building, from the data obtained location column and span-span will be planned, then do preliminary design, after the counting of loading the structure, then analyzing statics using the help SAP2000, control stability and cross-section of the main structure, planned connections, and the last working picture of the structure and details of the planning results. From the analysis, this plan can use a composite floor slab with floor deck W-1000 type Union, beams, columns, and bracing using WF hot rolled profiles in the market.
