This research is represent quantitative descriptive research, by taking title Sectoral Economic Analysis Potency in Sub-Province of Malang Year 2002-2006 . Target of this Research is to know sectoral growth, sectoral constribution, growth pattern, then preeminent sector Sub-Province and Per Set of its Region Developer. Pursuant to average value growth of economics at Sub-Province and Set of its Region Developer, growth of highest economics Sub-Province of Malang is building sector equal to 7,50%. Sectoral Constribution highest Sub-Province of Malang is agricultural sector equal to 31,87%, and so do at Set Of Region Development Sub-Province of Malang, highest sectoral konstribusi predominated by agricultural sector also, as for highest sectoral konstribusi for agricultural sector is SWP I equal to 37,38%. Pursuant to analysis of Typologi Klassen area which quickly go forward and quickly grow and have growth of highest mean is SWP III this matter showing also that center growth of economics in Sub-Province SWP III. Pursuant to analysis Location Quotient , pre-eminent sector of Sub-Province of Malang is agricultural sector, dig and mining, and services. and so do pre-eminent sector to Set Of Region Development (SWP) in sub-province is at agricultural sector, mining sector and dig and financial sector, service and rental. From result of research can be concluded that writhing each economics of relatively homogenous SWP, this seen from distance difference of growth between SWP which do not too big its difference. There are also pre-eminent sector and non exeeding, from result of analysis hence government of sub-province Better be Unlucky give focus at potential sector by conducting policys of appropriate economics as effort repair of sectoral economics.
