Abstract

Coffee is a beverage that is today quite known in societies that are planted and developed for profit in the plantations. Many young entrepreneurs are choosing to open a small business can increase revenues by opening a cafe, stalls, or food stall providing drinks coffee as their main product. The purpose of this research was to analyze the costs and receipts as well as the Break Event Point at a Cafe in Malang. The methods used in this study is the analysis of the Break Event Point at Four Head, Equal, WKP, Copi Mbah, STMJ & Coffe 209 located in Malang. The result was the Break Event Point. The results obtained at the best price is owned by Equal Café because of the distance between the acceptance with BEP high prices with 5 x bigger than a BEP at IDR 15.583.000, with the acceptance of IDR 86,620,000 as well as the median income – average monthly IDR 37.220.000. The largest sales value assumption is owned by WKP and Four Head Cafe with a value of 24 of sales with the same menu. The results there were declared between the cost and the receipt obtained make Equal Café a Cafe that has the highest cost level, with high acceptance. A factor which makes the level of hustle from Cafe can provide high value low a Cafe.
