Abstract

Planting using the hydroponic method can overcome problems with reduced land for agriculture, and can even be applied indoors. There are some parameters that need to be considered in hydroponics in the room, among others, the pH level (hydrogen potential) in nutrient water, room temperature, the brightness of the LED substitute for sunlight and the amount of nutrsi water. So a trial was made to make an automatic control system to maintain the parameters so that the hydroponic planting system in the room can run optimally. After testing the pakcoi plant for 24 hours the automatic hydroponic control mechanism in the room can meet the parameters needed by pakcoi plants, the control system is able to maintain nutrient water pH in the range of 6.87 to 6.97, stabilizing the room temperature at 23 ° C to 29 ° C, the automatic control system can maintain LED brightness between 6800 Ix to 7200 Ix. The control system can also maintain the amount of nutrient water in 4.5 liters.
