Abstract
Obyek Study in this research hit the protection punish for journalist from doing an injustice hardness in executing journalistic activity. Where in executing its journalistic activity journalist often experience of the that good hardness in physical and also psychical, though journalist profession under the aegis of Law No. 40 year 1999 about Mass media given the protection punish to journalist, besides UU No. 40 Year 1999 also there is other;dissimilar regulation arranging about rights in [releasing] opinion that is Section 14 UU No. 39 Year 1999 about HAM and Section 28 UUD 1945 guaranting independence join an association and gather,releasing mind and article. In this research is problems studied by: How protection base punish for journalist from doing an injustice hardness. What will be protection execution punish for journalist from doing an injustice of hardness in executing journalistic activity. Intention of this research is to know the protection execution punish for journalist have walked as according to what in arranging in Law No. 40 year 1999 about Mass media. Method used in this study method of research of yuridis sosiologis, that is solution which is relied on by rule of law and regulation going into effect and related to a theory punish and also seenly realita that happened in society. In this writing is writer research in PWI ( Association of Indonesia Journalist) Town Worse luck. Pursuant to analysis result which have been conducted obtainable of conclusion that in protection executor punish for journalist from doing an injustice hardness in executing journalistic activity is arranged in Law No. 40 year 1999 not walk better matching with have [in] arranging in Law No. 40 year 1999. Others constraint faced by journalist in getting law protection which is full from regulation arranging private interest or faction exploiting journalist profession to look for the advantage as well as existence of power of where journalist put hand to company shading x'self, the journalist listen go any kind of become the company decision shading x'self.
