Abstract

This research aimed to find out the social-economic condition of youngmarriage age brides in Palenganga'an village Pamekasan Residence and find out social-economic household influence, including parents education, daughter education, family income and work participation of daughter to young-marriage age at Palengnga' an village Pamekasan residence. Data used was primary data, that was data which collected by the researcher along the research, including data related with respondent's social economic level which fit with variables stated. Secondary data was data found from independent sources, like village office, sub-district office, KUA, BKKBN. The data was analyzed by using multiple linear regression. Analysis showed that parents education, bride education, family income per month, and children amount influenced the young-marriage age in Palengnga' an village Pamekasan residence Madura, which showed by F count 61.650 larger than F table 2,56 and detennination coefficient for 84%. From Parents education, bride education, family income per month and children amount, the parents education had the larger influence, which showed by beta coefficient 47%, then daughter education, children amount, and family income per month. According above conclusion, the writer suggest, in order to create lower marriage level, education factor need to be paid attention. Beside increasing the knowledge, there also needed supporting facility, Family Planning Program to decrease the birth rate, since children amount would influence the amount of young-marriage age at Palengnga' an village Pamekasan residence, giving elucidation to the women worker about the importance of working though have to become foreign work force. They all would delay the young-marriage age and decrease habit to match two children to many in society.
