Abstract

Digestibility is part of nutrient feed that is not excreted in the feces. The digestibility is based on an assumption that nutrients not contained in the feces are exhausted and absorbed expressed in dry matter and if expressed in a percentage is called the digestibility coefficient. Digestibility of material for protein digestibility assay and total digestibility of a weft materials. This digestibility value describes the ability of fish to digest a feed and also describes the quality of feed consumed by fish. The purpose this research is determine the level of digestibility of the ingredients as well as to know the amount of feed consumption of Meat Bone Meal (MBM) and Poultry By-Product Meal (PBM) feed ingredients in eel (Anguillah bicolor). The results of research showed that giving different composition of feed ingredient in eel (Anguilla bicolor) give a very different influence on protein digestibility test, total digestibility and total feed consumption, where protein digestibility value was known by P1 treatment of commercial feed composition (100% grouper feed) has a higher digestibility value (98.73 ± 0.07) than P3 (98.49 ± 0.24) with feed composition MBM (Meat Bone Meal 30% and 70% (grouper feed) and P2 (96, 67 ± 0.86) with feed composition (PBM) 30% and 70% ( grouper feed), in total digestibility test it is known that P1 treatment has higher digestibility value (89.32 ± 1.15) than in P3 (89.10 ± 1.23) and P2 (62.49 ± 8.43) the amount of feed consumption of P1 treatment was better (165.87 ± 13.88), P3 (137.71 ± 14.19) , and P2 (137.33 ± 4.93). So that giving different composition between the verry real (P > 5% and 1%) on the feed ingredient of protein digestibility test, total digestibility and total feed consumption, and the level of digestibility of the ingredients as well as to know the amount of feed consumption of feed ingredients in eel as 68% - 89%.
