Abstract

This research was conducted in January 2018 at Fisheries Laboratory of University of Muhammadiyah Malang, East Java. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of supplementation that could affect the growth rate and the synthesis of the seeds of Koi fish (Cyprinus carpio linnaeus) and to know the dose of supplements that could affect the growth rate and the survival of the Koi fish seed (Cyprinus carpio linnaeus). The method used in this research is the experimental method. In this study, 3 treatments (B, C, D) were administered dosage and 1 control treatment (A), each treatment was repeated 3 replicates which were randomized freely in one experimental container ie aquarium. The main parameters observed in this study were the growth measurements of SGR (Significan Growth Rate) and the synthesis of SR (Survival Rate) of Koi fish seeds. As for the observed parameters observed the observation of water quality of culture media include temperature, pH, and DO. Data analysis technique in this research is by using anova (analysis of variance). The results showed that the average value of SGR (Significan Growth Rate) is best in the C treatment with a dose of 100ml / kg of feed with an average of SGR of 4.162 grams. Furthermore, anova results also show that treatment C is the best treatment compared with other treatment. The highest survival rate was C treatment (100 ml / kg of feed) with a mean survival rate of 66.12 head, so it can be concluded that the C treatment (100 ml / kg of feed) is the best treatment to increase SGR and SR. This is because temulawak contains protein and curcumin. This research is expected to provide additional knowledge and information to the wider community or Koi fish business actors in order to improve the production of Koi fish that have quality, quantity, kontiunitas and can compete in the international market.
