Abstract

This research aimed at evaluating the effectivity of creative problem-solving learning model in mathematics learning of VII class at SMP Taman Siswa (Taman Dewasa) Malang. The evaluation of the effectivity of learning model was reviewed form three aspects, of which aspects were students’ activity, students’ responses, towards the learning model, and students learning outcomes. The kind and approach that were used in this research was descriptive quantitative with the students of VIII C at SMP Taman Siswa (Taman Dewasa) Malang as the subjects of this research. the observation sheets of students’ activity, the students’ response questionnaires, and test sheets were used as the instruments for evaluating the effectivity of learning model. The research result showed that the students’ activity in implementing the creative problem-solving learning model was classified in very good category, in which the percentages were 84,38%. The students’ responses towards the learning which used creative problem-solving learning model were in very good category, in which the percentages were 82,53%. The students learning outcomes through the creative problem-solving learning model were classically complete with the completeness of 71,88%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of creative problem-solving learning model in mathematics learning at VIII class of SMP Taman Siswa (Taman Dewasa) Malang can be said as effective
