Abstract

Potato plants are one of the horticultural commodities that have good potential and prospects to support diversification programs in order to realize sustainable food security. One way to make this happen is to hold seedlings of potatoes that have good quality and can meet needs. Potato seed production can be done by multiplying it through potato stem cuttings by giving leaf fertilizer. This study aims to get potato seedlings through multiplication using stem cuttings by giving several variations of leaf fertilizer NPK. The research was conducted from April to July 2018 carried out in a greenhouse located in Sidomulyo Batu, continued from August to October 2018 at the Green House located in Pujon Kidul Village. This study was conducted using a simple Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 5 treatments which were repeated 6 times. The treatments to be tested are as follows: P0: control ie without using leaf fertilizer, P1 total NPK is 52%; P2 total NPK 50%; P3 total NPK 15%; P4 total NPK was 18.4%. Variant analysis was carried out on the results of observations obtained and carried out BNJ tests with a level of 5% and correlation analysis between observation variables. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the treatment of leaf fertilizer with NPK content of 50% -52% tends to show the best results on parameters of plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, wet and dry weight of tuber, number of tubers, weight of wet and dry stover. While the treatment of leaf fertilizer with 50% NPK content showed the best results on stem diameter. The control treatment without the administration of leaf fertilizer showed the lowest average value for each observation parameter. Giving some types of leaf fertilizer showed a strong correlation between parameters for growth and yield of potato crops.
