Abstract

Pile foundation is a functioning component to distribute weights caused by upper structure of a construction which gives possible support. The method used to analyze the building is 3D using STAADPro Software. The calculation results derived from Standard Penetration Test (SPT). According to ultimate support of pile foundation, the pile is designed using spun pile with the diameter of 80 x 80 cm which approximately holds the vertical weight. Based on the analysis, reaction Fy = 13502,461 kN, Fx = 24,4 kN, Fz = 64,009 kN, Mx = 84,298 kN.m, My = 0,294 kN.m, and Mz = 59,123 kN.m. Moreover, according to the data, the total of pile foundation needed for type 1 and 2 is 16 and 8 spots. Based on the analysis, depth and weight of building, there is a decrease happened in pile foundation type 2 for about 17.483 cm
