Abstract

The diverse ability of students is one of the causes of the teacher's difficulty in carrying out learning, so it needs to be supported by the facilities and infrastructures of the school, one of which is learning media for teachers. This study aims to describe the development and feasibility of the Index Card media Match on Material about Introduction to Pancasila in grade two elementary school. The research and development model used is the ADDIE model. There are 5 research and development procedures, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. As a source of data is grade 2 students at MI Iskandar Sulaiman Kota Batu Academic Year 2018/2019. Data collection uses interviews, observation, expert validation questionnaires, media user response questionnaires and media trial observations. By using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the use of appropriate media was used to help grade 2 students in understanding the introduction of Pancasila. This was evidenced by the researcher on the results of the student worksheets which showed all students could answer the questions given by the teacher and when the researchers implemented it in grade 2 elementary school students' responses to the media became more active in learning than before before using the media. This evidence is supported by the results of student response questionnaires. The use of Index Card Match media received a positive response and was suitable for use as a learning media for introducing Pancasila material. The results of research and development of Index Card Match learning media are suggested to be used as learning media for introducing Pancasila material in grade 2 elementary school and as a means that can assist teachers in making creative, active and innovative learning.
