Abstract

In reality, SBDP learning that implemented at SDLB Kedungkandang Malang for mentally retarded students in 3rd grade is felt less than optimal due to the lack of learning support media such as the availability of media to learn about mosaic art. This research aims to: (1) Produce Media Development of PATUNGBAR (Picture Hanging Board) for Mentally Retarded Students in SBDP Learning Material of Mosaic Fine Arts Class on 3rd Grade Elementary School. (2) Describe the response of the user of the PATUNGBAR media (Picture Hanging Board) for mentally retarded children in SBDP learning material for fine arts class on 3rd Grade elementary school. This research is using a type of development research with ADDIE model with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In the development of the hanging board drawing media through the phase of vaidation by two validators they are material and media validators and tested on the 3rd grade elementary school mentally retarded students. The results of this research indicate (1) the process of developing the right drawing board media in five ADDIE stages that results from both validators with an average percentage found 86% with the conclusion that the card board contains a very valid picture. (2) User response, teachers and students towards drawing board media, is very positive when used in the SBDP learning process. Mosaic art materials make students excited and enthusiastic in learning. expressed as an interesting and fun product.
