Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the level of welfare of tile craftsmen in Notorejo Village, Tulungagung Regency, which was viewed from the level of income, education and health. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, which describes problems in a condition, procedures in certain situations, relationships between activities, attitudes and ongoing processes. The population in this study were tile craftsmen in Notorejo Village, Tulungagung Regency as many as 35 people. Analiist technique using the concept of income and welfare level in this study is divided into three (3) namely the level of prosperity in terms of income, education and health. Based on the results of the analysis, if the level of income can be seen, the highest profit generated by the craftsmen is Rp. 740,000, - while the lowest is Rp. 195,000, -. The results of the analysis of the level of welfare of tile craftsmen in Notorejo Village, Tulungagung Regency, viewed from the level of education, can be seen that the majority stated enough, if viewed from the level of health, it can be seen that the majority of respondents said that it was quite easy to get health services, just get the ease of getting medicine when there was a problem regarding his health and did not get obstacles to using health facilities in this case regarding distance.
