Abstract

This research aims to describe : (1) Implementation Open-Ended approach with the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) method on the aggregate learning, (2) the ability to think creatively students through the implementation of Open-Ended approach with the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) method on the aggregate learning, (3) troubleshooting capabilities of students with the implementation of Open-Ended approach with the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) method on the aggregate learning. The type of this research is a descriptive research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Object in this research is to implement Open-Ended approach with the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) method on the aggregate learning. The data source is the students of class VII C Muhammadiyah 1 junior high school Malang and researchers. Data taken through questionnaires to know the validity of the RPP, the validity of the evaluation tests, observation to know the activities of teachers and students,workmanship under the write test to know the ability to think creatively and troubleshooting capabilities students. The results of the study showed that : (1) Implementation Open-Ended approach with the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) method have been performed in accordance with planned as well as the activity of the teacher in learning is classified in the category is very good and the activities of the students during the learning process is categorized as good enough, (2) the ability to think creatively students reached the level of mastery of good, with aspects smoothly in provide solutions for a variety of issues and correct, then the students are able to use various methods in solving the problem and the last aspect of the students are able to menyelesikan problem with new and different from the other students, (4) troubleshooting capabilities of mathematics students reached the level of mastery of good, with very good category on the aspects of understanding problems, Categories Whether on the aspects of the plan the plan of the settlement and to implement the plan settlement, categories good enough on aspects of reviewing or check back. It can be concluded that the implementation of Open-Ended approach with the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) method on learning the association has reached the average with a good category for each variable.
