Abstract
This study is descriptive with the title "Analysis of Relationships Levels of Liquidity and Leverage With Profitability Level Empirical Study On Pharmaceutical Companies Listed On The JSE ", during the period 2001-2003. The purpose of this study was to provide evidence that there significant relationship between the level of liquidity and leverage with the level of ang profitability in the pharmaceutical company listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange. The analytical tool used to know the relationship is with using correlation analysis. And the ratio used is the liquidity ratio (Current Ratio and Quick Ratio), Leverage (Debt Equity Ratio) and Profitability (profit margin). Results discussion and correlation analysis showed that the Current Ratio by profitability (profit margin) are positively correlated, Quick Ratio by Profitability (Profit Margin) positively correlated. And Leverage (Debt Equity Ratio) with Profitability (Profit Margin) negatively correlated Based on the conclusion, the writer implies that for investors should invest in companies that go public as well as in consideration, calculation, and analysis of the prospects and conditions the company may produce high levels of profitability in the future. Based on This research can be produced information that knowing the level of liquidity and leverage, investors can expect an increase or decline in profitability in the future, because there are relationships significant correlation between the level of liquidity and leverage with the level of profitability
