Abstract

This study was conducted in Indozonelife instagram account which showed that there are women bias signs in posting pictures. The purpose of this study was to analyze the women bias on instagram account of Indozonelife. This study applied a Qualitative Method using interpretative and semiotic analysis. The data were collected using the documentation. Then, the data were analyzed using Roland Bhartes to exposure the denotation, coonotation, and myth meanings. The results of the study showed that bias women on instagram account of Indozonelife in the form of pictures are defined as gender iniquity towards women. The postings indicated the humiliation of social status on women. They were classified as non-physical violence and gender stereotype.
