Abstract

Thematic learning is integreted learning model that uses scientifict approach that involves multiple subjects to provide meaningful experiences to students. Adiwiyata has significance as a place of god and ideal which can be obtained all the science and ethics can be the foundation of man towards the creation of the welfare of our lives and to the goals of development sustainable. The purpose of this research is to :(1) Describes the environmental-oriented thematic learning at SDN Tulungrejo 01 Batu, (2) Supporting factors in the implementation of environmental-oriented thematic learning at SDN Tulungrejo 01 Batu (3) Inhibiting factors of environmental-oriented thematic learning at SDN Tulungrejo 01 Batu. Furthermore, this study used qualitative descriptive research and qualitative approach. The source of data which used are primary and secondary data source. Primary data source are from interview guidelines, observation guidelines, dan documentation. While the secondary data source are from study documents. The researcher describes result of researching by words. Analysis of data which used by researcher is Miles and Huberman Model. The researcher describes the results of the study in the form of words. Meanwhile, the analysis was carried out after data collection, reduction, presentation and conclusions. The results of the study show that: (1) The implementation of environmental-oriented thematic learning in the adiwiyata start from the learning implementation planning. Furthermore, it modifies with integration with environmental culture. Then do the learning according to the plan that has been prepared. (2) supporting factors in the implementation of learning are influenced by external and internal factors that affect students. (3) The inhibiting factors are the lack of innovative teachers, lack of awareness of parents about environmental culture and there are some students who do not care about the cultural environment and consider only as a rule school.
