Abstract

The usage of langauge through mind and feeling in speaking or writing is the form of the usage of language style. This research constitutes the result of analysis of style language used by teachers in learnng process of Bahasa Indonesia for eight grade in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Inovasi Malang which has purposes to describe the usage of language style used by teachers based on the meaning of learning process of Bahasa Indonesia . It also describes the usage of language style used by teachers based on the dictions intonation in learning process of Bahasa Indonesia subject. This research was conducted in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Inovasi Malang. The method used was descriptive qualitative. The data collection used was observation and recording. Besides, the data collection used was Miles and Huberman model that included data reduction, data presentation, and takin conclusion. Based on the analysis result and discussion, it could be concluded that type of language style based on the meaning language style of contrast and comparison because the teachers were explaining informations that were contrast with the real thing inorder to trigger student’s confidence. Then, the result, students were provoked to show their confidence to perfom in front of the class. Then, they showed their sensitivity in giving respond to their teachers’ explanation. Besides, the language style based on the dictions was unformal because in when the teacher explained, they used informal diction which used in daily speaking, so it sounded less effective because of their dictions. Then, the intonation used was simple because the teachers gave instruction and it gave impact to the students that they could respond the teacher’s explantion fast and well.
