Abstract
Background: low back pain is a pain found in the lower part of the spine, usually located between the bases of the rib cage with the top of the lower leg. Research Methods: The design of this study was observational analytics with cross sectional approach. Hence, the respondents in the study were 62 people of sulfur miners in the mountain of Ijenby using total sampling technique. Questionnaires, REBA and NBMwere used as the instruments of this study. Furthermore, data analysis test used spearman correlation test. Result:The result showed that spearman correlation test between works positions with low back pain event obtained value of 0.218 which meant ho was received. However,the correlation between works periods with low back pain obtained significance value of 0.000 which result in ho rejection. Conclusion:The result showed that there is no relationship between job position and low back pain occurrence in sulfur miners and, there is a correlation between work period to low back pain occurrences in sulfur miners in Ijen Mountain.
