Abstract

Erosion became one of the factors of the soil through the reduction process of leaching of nutrients to the soil. Erosion is missing or losing land or portions of land by water or wind. Erosion causes loss of fertile soil and reduced the ability of the soil to hold water. This research aims to know the magnitude of the rate of erosion in the forest land production in agroforestry systems in the villages of the South, district Pujon Pujon, Malang. data retrieval is done by methods of descriptive exploratory conducted with the activities of field survey aimed to find out the magnitude of erosion prediction values on each land unit on-site research. Determination of the point of the sample is done on purpose/direct (purposive sampling) based on the results of the overlay four (4) types of map i.e. land use map, topography map, administration, as well as a map of soil types and set the SPL 5 (unit patch of land). Data analysis was done with equation USLE (Universal Soil Lost Equation). The parameters used, namely erosivity rain (R), erodibility (K), topography (LS), vegetation (C), and soil conservation (P). Results of the study i.e. erosivity index (R) obtained from the monthly rainfall data. The soil at the site of the research contained within the class clay, clay, clay dust, dusty clay, and clay. Vegetation (C) in the form of a pine forest, eucalyptus, various vegetables such as broccoli, chili, lettuce, there is also grass fodder. Soil conservation (P) in the form of terraces and benches guludan vegetables. The value of topography (LS) ranged from 1.80 to 8.29. Prediction of the lowest erosion present on SPL 3 which fall into the category of very light i.e. 9.44 tons/ha/year and the largest in the SPL 4 very heavy fall into the category that is of 1016.03 tons/ha/year.
