Justice fundamentally involves being fair and balanced towards Allah, the Prophet Muhammad, and his companions. Being fair to Allah means understanding His names, attributes, and actions accurately, and fulfilling His rights. Being fair to the Prophet Muhammad involves honoring him proportionally and meeting his rights. Being fair to the companions of the Prophet Muhammad means placing them in their rightful positions and fulfilling their rights. It entails finding a balance between ethical relations with Allah and horizontal relationships with others, between knowledge and action, between the physical and the spiritual, between textual and contextual thinking, and between rights and responsibilities.
Indicators of justice include having a national perspective, practicing tolerance, avoiding extremism and liberalism, upholding local customs, and rejecting violence.
Findings and theoretical implications of the construction of the theoretical concept of moderate Islam (Islam wasatiyah) based on the model of al-Salaf al-Salih in belief (akidah) and its critical and practical implementation.
