Abstract

Jatropha curcas L. using stem cuttings and tissue culture composed of plant somatic plant cells (somatic) or vegetative propagation, or use of seeds from seeds that are added or generative propagation. Liquid organic fertilizer is able to add nutrients as growth from a highly effective Distance plant. One effective liquid fertilizer is a local microorganism. This study aims to determine the effect of POC (liquid organic fertilizer) on the growth of jatropha seedlings. The experiments were factorial using a randomized block design (RAK), in which factor 1 was the immersion time with 10ml POC solution (10%), consisting of P1: Control (without soaking), P2: 6 hours, P3: 12 hours . Factor 2 is fertilizer dose with liquid organic fertilizer (D) consisting of D1: control (without fertilization), D2: 10 ml / plant, D3: 20 ml / plant. There are 9 combinations repeated 3 times. The results showed that the treatment of soaking and dose of fertilization was interaction of observation variable of germination percentage, plant height, leaf number, stem diameter and wet weight of upper part of the plant after plant 3 to 5 weeks after planting. The combination of the best treatment was at treatment that was soaking for 6 hours and 20ml fertilization dose.
