Abstract

This study is descriptive with the title "Bank Rating Analysis Before And After Go Public On the Banks of Registered In Jakarta Stock Exchange." The purpose of this study was to determine the health level banks before and after going public and also to find out whether there are differences in bank soundness before and after going public on the Jakarta Stock Exchange. The analytical tool used to determine the level of bank health is by CAMEL analysis, namely financial analysis and assessment of a bank's management of a bank established by Bank Indonesia to find out about the soundness of the bank concerned. CAMEL Analysis of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Assets Risked (RORA), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), ratio of operating expenses to operating income (BOPO), the ratio of net liabilities to assets call money smoothly, and the ratio of credit to the funds received. As for knowing the difference in the health level of the bank before and after going public using different test models Wilcoxon T-Test. The results from the CAMEL analysis showed that Bank Mandiri before going public has a predicate less healthy bank soundness, while after going public has a predicate pretty healthy bank soundness. For Bank Central Asia before going public has a predicate bank soundness unwell, and after going public has not changed predicate bank soundness. Then to Bank Rakyat Indonesia before and after going public has a predicate bank soundness quite healthy. From the results of different test Wilcoxon T-Test model can be seen that there was no significant difference in the level of bank health was assessed by CAMEL in Bank Mandiri, Bank Central Asia, and Bank Rakyat Indonesia before and after going public. Based on the conclusion, the author can provide advice that Bank Mandiri should improve aspects of quality management in hopes of bank soundness will also increase. For Bank Central Asia should increase the ratio of net value RORA for CAMEL increased, with the aim that the Central Bank will be able to compete with other banks. As for Bank Rakyat Indonesia should improve its RORA, NPM to further optimize the assets held for profit and for public trust, or customers of Bank Rakyat Indonesia is also increasing.
