Abstract

An increase in the number of building construction, brigges, roads. And then, can affect several aspects such as increased use of concrete requirements as well as buildup of construction waste from expen dable buildings. The main material of making concrete such as gravel and sand increasingly depted, causing the price of material from year to year more expensive. For it is necesscary to do a contruction technologi can reduce the inpact, one of which is use the waste of concrete for the manufacture of new concrete. This study aims to find oit how much value of compressive strength of concrete and mudulus elasticity in concrete made of waste material by adding addictive substances such as fly ash. This research plots normal concrete with a target compressive strenght of 30 Mpa. And the varition of fly ash adition of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% with test age of twety eight days. The results showed the compressive strength produced by the concrete from the waste material of 28 Mpa or did not reach the planned strength, but the addition of fly ash the compressive strength of the concrete has increased the addition of 5% fly ash increased by 4,46% from the initial compressive strength. The addition of 10% fly ash increased by 6,48% the addition of 15% Fly ash increased by 15,61% and in addition the 20% fly ash decreased by 19,17% of the initial compressive strength. And the addition of the most optimum fly ash variation of 15% of the rusulting elastic modulus is not proportional to the compressive strength.
