Abstract
The research was conducted in YPAC Malang for the purpose of knowing the method used by YPAC in providing learning to children with special needs. This research is a qualitative research using qualitative descriptive approach by taking background of foundation of defect child coaching. Education taught should be tailored to the ability of the students themselves. In this case the task of the educator is very important once given a method of learning well. Data collection is done by conducting interviews, observation, observation and documentation. Data analysis is done by giving meaning to the data that have been collected and from that meaning is drawn conclusion. The focus of the research is: 1. What is the method used in Islamic learning in children with special needs in YPAC Malang? 2. How is the implementation of methods in learning Islam in children with special needs in YPAC Malang? 3. What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the use of Islamic learning method in children with special needs in YPAC Malang? The results of qualitative analysis concluded that the process of learning implementation has been running well, proven in teaching and learning process using the right method, such as lecture method, image observation method, demonstration method, rote method, singing method and exemplary method. In addition, Islam is implemented by using the right approach, then familiarize the students to read prayer before the learning begins, and choose the method of learning in accordance with the ability of learners and provide learning materials in accordance with the ability of learners. And there are supporting factors that encourage the smoothness of a learning such as adequate facilities and infrastructure, clear vision and mission, the happiness of learners in receiving learning and support both from the school and outside parties. The inhibiting factor is that learners have different special needs, and a lack of understanding of learners of religion.
