Abstract
In agrarian's country like Indonesia, there would be supporting if corn (Zea mays L) commodity was developed, since corn has "enough potential to be cultured and easy to be developed. "Hie variance role of food needs from corn material was needed in this farm method, so that was not impossible the corn condition got more attention, even in shorter time, the hybrid-corn plantation with primary production would be fastened. Seeing the importance of corn plant (Zea mays L) for Indonesian society, there do a research to find out the proper level of farm partnership hybrid-corn also the partnership program between PT.DuPont Indonesia with partnership farmer. The problems in this research were : 1) How the prosperity of hybrid-corn partnership between farmer and PT.DuPont Indonesia ; 2) How the partnership of hybrid-corn seed partnership between farmer and PT. Du Pont Indonesia. While the research aimed to : 1) Finding out the prosperity of hybrid-corn partnership between farmer and PT. DuPont Indonesia; 2) finding out the hybrid-corn seed partnership program between farmer and PT. DuPont Indonesia. The location was considered in purposive way. The region was decided based on consideration that in there were partnership between PT. DuPont Indonesia with the partner fanner in Turen sub-district. In the research, the farmer samples were taken in accidental random sampling method with the hybrid-corn farmer from PT. DuPont Indonesia. According to the interview, observation, questionnaire and the question list, there could be concluded that 28 respondents of partner farmers were on productive age. The education was really influenced the way in farm. When the fanner wasn't able to do his farm, he could apply a better farm management. Respondents often depended on the farm. Outside the farm, they also had cattle. In the hybrid-corn partnership program between farmer and PT. DuPont Indonesia, there were contract farming pattern by giving partnership program to the fanner in financial. The corn culture consisted of land cultivation and watering, plantation, and nursery. According to the partnership cooperation between hybrid-corn farmer and PT. DuPont Indonesia, the marketing of harvest result would be PT. DuPont responsibility. Pioneer hybrid-corn result was sold to the DuPont with the agreed price. According to the research which showed R/C ratio larger than 1, that was 1.24 the farm result aimed to give profit, so that could be concluded that corn seeding partnership gave significant profit to the partner farmer.
