Abstract

The Jajar Legowo planting system is a cropping pattern between two planting lines or more that is given a blank line. While conventional distance is the distance that has been used by farmers who have a one-line system which will inhibit the entry of sunlight. Plant density regulation aims to minimize intrapopulation competition so that the canopy and roots of plants can utilize the environment optimally. Indonesia must be able to produce corn in meeting its needs not to import, there must be an innovative spacing and conventional spacing to determine the growth and yield of corn. This study was to find out about the growth response and the results of nine corn plants using conventional and conventional jajar. This research was conducted in the experimental field of Jatropha curcas, Kedung Penggaron Village, Kejayaan District, Pasuruan City. The experimental design used was Splitplot (Split Plot Design) Factorial which had 2 factors and repeated 3 replications. The first factor is the spacing and the second factor is the variety. The combination treatment of this study is the main map of the method, mapping the second nine varieties. Children map the variety consists of 9 levels: V1 = BISI 2, V2 = BISI 18, V3 = BISI 226, V4 = BISI 228, V5 = BISI 819, V6 = DK77, V7 = PERTIWI 3, V8 = PIONEER P21, V9 = NK6172 . The results showed growth in the varieties BISI 228, PERTIWI 3 and BISI 226 showed growth and yield responses, plant height, number of leaves, age of female flowers base, middle, end, diameter of peel cob weight, cropping and number of rows of seed girth and seed density . In the response system the spacing is quite balanced which shows the growth response is conventional and conventional.
