Abstract

In establishing a strong and sturdy building, must go through proper planning. Nowadays many strong and sturdy buildings are erected, made of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, composite steel. So, this planning is done to create a strong and sturdy structure using a concrete-steel composite with the condition that the structure does not collapse but may experience nonstructural damage. In addition, this planning is done because it wanted to know the design of tall building using composite steel structure with Bracing Inverted V. In designing a composite steel building is planned with a method without scaffolding (unpropped). So that the steel structure is designed to be able to accept composite behavior before (pre) and after (post) composite of the floor plate without scaffolding. Utilization of the building as a lecture facility with soil type on medium soil conditions then is in the category of seismic design (KDS) D. In the structure planning used SRPMK (Special Moment Frame System) and Bracing Inverted V. Used slab deck with Floor Deck W-1000 PT Union Metal, with an effective thickness of 95 mm. for the column profile plan used Wide Flange 400.400.13.21, while the secondary beam is used Wide Flange 248.124.5.8, and the primary beam Wide Flange 450.200.9.14, and on Bracing Inverted V used Wide Flange 200.200.8.12. of the planning results obtained maximum deviation that occurred at 151.943 mm.
