Abstract

The Dander road of Bojonegoro District with a width of 6 m is a collector road that becomes access to Nganjuk District and also become one of the access road to the tourist attraction. The number of vehicles passing through this road leads to degradation in service, this resulted on the existing road damage such as cracks and holes. must be done on road improvements, The effort that be done is Planning additional layer thickness. Planning a road, it must consider the economic aspects, safety aspects, pavement thickness and effective quality of the planned road. The thickness planning the additional layer of flexible pavement with Bina Marga method of 1987 is expected to plan optimum pavement thickness. The thickness planning of the additional layer is to collect LHR and CBR, then calculate the traffic growth factor, the traffic calculation plan, Number Equivalent (E), Cross the Early Equivalent (LEP), Cross End Equivalent (LEA), Cross Central Equivalent (LET), Cross Plan Equivalent (LER), looking for CBR values for DDT, search Regional Factor (FR), search Initial Surface Index Value (Ipo), search The Final Surface Index Value End (IP), search the value of Surface Thickness Index (ITP). Result of analysis obtained by method of Bina Marga 1987 hence obtained traffic data amount 2554,97 vehicle / day / 2 lane, land carrying capacity equal to 4,5 and thick layer of additional is 3 cm. the cost of thick work required overlay is Rp 2.101.390.297,00 rounded Rp 2.102.000.000,00 (two billion one hundred two million rupiah).
