Abstract

The consumption of potatoes in Indonesia according to the Central Statistics Agency in 2014 reached an average of 1,027,854 tons / land (BPS, 2014). The consumption of potatoes in Indonesia according to the Central Statistics Agency in 2014 was reached an average of 1,027,854 tons / land (BPS, 2014). The availability of potato seeds is far from sowing, only 15% of the normal needs of 300,000 tons / land (meaning impord), which is known that beni is the main production facility in crop cultivation, in the sense that the use of quality seeds has a very decisive role in efforts to increase production and quality of results (Ministry of Agriculture, 2015). In this study using five potato genotypes from crosses, namely, (A) PLJPR + VIETNAM, (B) VIETNAM + GR + P + PPT6 (C) PPPT6 (D) PLJPR + SD VIETNAM (E) GRSD + PLJPR. The characters observed included quantitative and qualitative characters, the qualitative parameters included: leaf color, leaf shape, stem color, stem shape, leaf composition, tuber shape, tuber color, and tuber color, while in quantitative observations include: plant height, stem diameter, leaf number, leaf length, leaf width, tuber number, tuber weight, tuber length, tuber diameter, moisture content, and starch content. The data was analyzed using the F test at the level of 5%. If the F test shows the real effect on the alpha level of 5%, the BNT test is performed at an alpha level of 5%. The results showed that the growth of Genotype (E) GRSD + PLJPR has a different character from other genotypes, because it has an open leaf arrangement, a stylized rod shape, and an Elliptic tuber shape.
