Abstract

Potatoes other than used as foodstuffs, also used as industrial raw materials, feed and potentially bio-pharmacy. Therefore, the potato crop has a pretty good prospects in developed in Indonesia. Efforts to improve the quality of potatoes in Indonesia have been implemented with some program activities. One of them is through micro-reproduction, including the planting of cuttings in in vitro which are the interesting aspects of the application of tissue culture. potatoes can be propagated in culture in vitro with use MS media, ZPT is a very important, namely sitokinin and Auxin. ZPT used namely Benzyl Adenine (BA) which is the substance a growing balance sitokinin was instrumental in the process of cell proliferation, induce cell division as well as the establishment and development of shoots. This research was conducted in the laboratory of Biotechnology University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The design used i.e. rack (Random Design Group) with 7 treatment 3 times repeats. Results of the study showed that the modifications of the media MS (Murashige And Skoog) with the addition of the substance Benzyl Adenine (BA) growing regulator very real interaction happening against the growth of potato i.e. planlet on all parameters except on a number of parameters sprout (4 MST), the number of books (1 MST), and number of leaves (1-2 MST). ½ medium modification MS relative outcomes more views on this parameter the number of buds (4 MST), the number of books (1 MST) and the number of leaves (2 MST). The addition of the concentration of the substance Benzyl Adenine (BA) growing regulator gives the same result as seen from the observation parameters and do not differ markedly in the parameter number of buds (4 MST), the number of books (1 MST) and the number of leaves (1-2 MST).
