Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the reason to choose erection girder method, to know effective method for erection girder implementation, to know affecting factor of erection girder implementation process, and to compare erection girder method implementation using crawler crane and launcher method. First, the primary and secondary data were collected, then crawler crane and girder launcher method plan were analyzed. Material, equipment requirements, time, cost and quality of each method were analyzed. Furthermore, the results of the analysis are used to determine the most appropriate method. Based on the analysis that has been done, conclude that the affecting factors of using erection girder method was field conditions, field location, weather conditions, human resources, equipment specifications and equipment mobilization. The fundamental difference between the crawler crane method and the girder launcher is how to lay the girder beam at the point of support. The process of crawler crane method has relatively faster than girder launcher method, because equipment mobilization was done in separate condition, while girder launcher method has some advantages in terms of cost, equipment precision, and operation mode. From the analytical calculation, it can be found that the effective method of erection girder method implementation at under bridge Sta 03 + 550 tollroad Panddan-Malang project section 1 was using crawler crane with total cost Rp 828.800.000,- in 25 days.
