Abstract
Virtual communities have become a popular phenomenon since the development of social and digital media. The advancement of digital technology increasingly supports the existence of virtual communities as new spaces of life. This is starting to be used by many organizations. One of them is the Special Agents recruitment process conducted by Do Something Indonesia which aims to find representative figures from the organization to disseminate information related to programs owned by Do Something Indonesia. Special Agents was chosen as an organization-representatives of the Do Something Indonesia, spread out in several cities of Indonesia. Therefore, their social media behavior is one of the important things to study because social media is one of the tools used by Do Something Indonesia to imply and amplify their programs. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of interpretive research. The research was conducted online using instant messenger. Researchers used purposive sampling technique in determining the subject of research. Subjects (members of Special Agents) selected in this study are based on predetermined categorization. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews and observations. Data analysis techniques used are cyber media analysis techniques. Data validity test using triangulation method. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that uploaded content display on social media has in common, namely content that can represent the subject's personality on social media by considering several rules and not displaying the whole subject itself. It is seen that all texts that appear on their social media are influenced by the identity or position of the subject as a Special Agents. They care about how the persona and image will be displayed on their social media. There are several patterns that have similarities to the behavior of social media from Special Agents, namely the tendency to think before they share, where the culture is indeed the main character instilled by Do Something Indonesia for all its members
