Abstract
Newspapers are now experiencing the phase of saturation because with the presence of straight news (direct news) and hard news with the pattern is always the same reverse pyramid is increasingly impressed monotone. On the other hand, newspapers have relatively little space for typical news or similar features. Though typical feature-type news has its own attraction for the reader because, in addition to the interesting presentation of features has a thick element of human interest, such as one of the rubric of the daily Radar Malang namely the presence of Rubric "Nganal Kodew". Rubric that explores the problematic of this household is thick with its two icons namely Markonah and Markucel. Departing from the important role of printed mass media Newspapers as a medium that not only presents information, influence, mediation, entertaining also have to educate. For back again that the Newspaper has a social responsibility that is literate the readers. In this case the daily Radar Malang slipped journalism literature on the news in the rubric "Nganal Kodew". Researchers will examine the application of literary journalism in daily Radar Malang by conducting interviews along with observations on newsroom rubric “Nganal Kodew”. This research used a qualitative approach using the newsroom study method on the production of the rubric "Nganal Kodew". By getting 5 informants selected using total sampling technique. This research was conducted from May 2018 until June 2018 located at Radar Malang Office; Jl. Kawi no.11 B Malang and some other supporting places in Malang. Data analysis techniques use Miles and Huberman (data reduction, data presentation and conclusion) using source triangulation as a validity test of data. From the discussion in the previous chapters the researchers concluded that the Daily Radar Malang has applied Journalism Literature in practice in the rubric "Nganal Kodew". The rubric has applied the rules of writing Literary Journalism by Mark Kramer. Although in practice not all rules run perfectly yet at least seven of the eight rules have been applied by the editorial rubric "Nganal Kodew". Whether or not realized by the fulfillment of the rules of journalism literature is then automatically rubric "Nganal Kodew" has met the elements in writing Journalism Literature, which has a purpose as a means of recreation as well as educational facilities. The presence of this rubric with Literary Journalism style into its own breath for Radar Malang is also a new color for the world of news. So, in this study it can be concluded that the application of literary journalism in Daily Radar Malang on the rubric "Nganal Kodew" has been applied not only reinforced by narratives that are built with storytelling, but also there is a distinctive any acronym and characterization that has been firmly attached in this rubric.
