Abstract

The study was conducted on 18 September - 18 October located at Hatcheri 265 Situbondo, East Java. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of artificial feeding (Rotofier, Top, Frippak) on the development of shrimp larvae vannamei (Litopenaeus vannamei) and to know which type of artificial feed is more influential to the development of vannamei shrimp larvae (Litopenaeus vannamei. The data obtained is tabulated then the normality test with Saphiro-Wilk test is then done homogeneity of varience, if α <0.05 then the data is not normal then tested statistic non parametik Kruskal Wallis. If α ≥ 0,05 then normal data and variation of each sample homogeny, then tested parametric statistic One Way Anova with degree of trust 95% (α ≤ 0,05). If α ≤ 0.05 then statistically significant, if ≥ 0.05 then the results of the calculation is not meaningful, if obtained a meaningful result followed by statistical test of Multifer Comparisons (Past hoc test) Bonferroni type to see significant between groups. The result of ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) of the development of shrimp larvae of vanamei from protozoea stadium to mysis obtained F = 0,564 (≥0,05), ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) number of shrimp larvae development from stadia mysis until post larva obtained F = 0,302 (≥ 0,05), and ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) result of development of shrimp larvae of vanamei stadia from post larvae until post larva 9 obtained F = 0,396 (≥ 0,05). Level of life (SR) at 25% feed, on 28% rotofier feed and 26% frippak feed and for air quality parameters still normal ie salinity 29, pH 7, DO 5 and temperature 30ºc. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that different feeding is not new to the development of vannamei shrimp larvae.
